Promise

Promise a Debt.
                                    It’s your promise
                                    That makes Mister and Miss.
                                    The tongue can give the goose to the mire
                                    And heaven to the dear,
                                    Forgetting the fact that tomorrow is near.
                                    And today is tomorrow;
                                    It pays to hope
                                    Because promise is a rope

University

University
An epitome of a universal city
A community with all human and spiritual reality:
A city somehow outskirt of hospitality
But to many a Haven for satisfaction and freedom

A visit will clarify the doubt that surrounds mans mind
As regard how natural and unusual humans behave and relate with nature
Right from the car park down to the Lecture Room-
One will see a whole lot of nature in display;
Is it the flora or the fauna?

Hence, considering the human interaction in this big city
One won’t be wrong to say that there’s a trace of universality
In all University.
However taking an in-dept look, we see stuff like:
The Black, White, Red and mixed
The married; engaged; dating and even the singles.
Also, young and old,
Daddies, mummies and the children,
Either; tall, short, fat or thin
And even the professed whole and those maimed
Others are the serious whores
Teasing brother and sister zealous
Indeed, discipline, determination and doggedness
Are key ingredients for survival on this City!

Break-up.
A life at rest
Living and waiting
Waiting still kneeling
Wake-up!
It’s time for harvest
When will you break-up?

Tomorrow never comes
Yet you yearn
With nothing to earn
Many have built barns
Garnished with yams
Your couch warm;
With your palms
You’ll reap what you’ve sown
Success gotten on platter of gold tends to be abused.
